Abbey Loans

Abbey offer an online budget planner to help you decide how large a loan you can comfortably afford; you can repay a fixed amount each month, which can be paid over a period of up to 8 years.

There are no set up fees when taking out a loan with Abbey, however applicants must be aged 18 or over, be UK resident, and have managed their finances with no problems in the past.

Abbey will offer you the option of taking out a payment protection policy with your loan; this provides cover should you be unable to work for 30 consecutive days through illness, accident, or because you have been made redundant through no fault of your own – this policy can maintain your loan repayments for up to 12 months, until you return to work, or until the loan is repaid.
